3iS in Lyon, the birthplace of cinema
The 3iS Lyon campus is a brand new training hub for future cinema and sound professionals. This new audiovisual school welcomes Filmmaking, Audiovisual & Sound students in Bron, a town inside Greater Lyon with easy public transport links to the heart of the city, where 3iS students can make the most of the region’s dynamic cultural life.
Our Lyon campus offers over 2,400 m2 of technical facilities with the latest equipment to train for the creative screen industries. 3iS students have exclusive access to the site’s 400 m2 of shooting sets with a ceiling height of 7 meters. Other facilities include 2 lecture theaters, 5 self-directed work rooms, a store room and a computer room, providing an optimal environment for budding filmmakers and sound technicians to gain the skills for an exciting career.

You can choose to live near the campus in Bron, or in the metropolitan heart of Lyon. Public transport is very good between the two, so you’ll never be far from 3iS! There are plenty of student residences around the campus, from studios to two-bed apartments.
